Hello! My name is Miss Akins, and I am so excited to be your student's teacher this school year. I am from Millbrook, and I graduated from Stanhope Elmore in 2008. I graduated from AUM with my Bachelor's degree in Nursing and worked as a nurse in a variety of field for almost ten years. I dreamed of being a teacher and pursued my Master's degree in Elementary Education from AUM! This will be my third year here at CES, where I previously taught first grade. I truly feel like teaching is a calling, and I am blessed to help foster a love of learning for your student. I look forward to an amazing year in KINDERGARTEN! Go Mustangs!
