I graduated from Auburn University of Montgomery with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. After I graduated I taught at Tallassee Elementary School from 2008-2010.  I was a special education resource teacher who taught K-3rd grade. I took off from teaching and became a stay at home Mom after my son was born. I went back to work in 2013 and did early intervention for Autauga, Elmore, and Montgomery County. I was a service coordinator and special instructor who served children birth-3 in there natural environment who were developmentally delayed or had a medical diagnosis. In 2014-2015 I taught at Daniel Pratt Elementary School in Prattville, AL as a resource teacher for grades 1-3. I am very excited to be at Coosada Elementary School and working with your babies. I will be working with grades k-1 as the Special Education Teacher.

I am originally from Pennsylvania. My Dad's job moved our family to Prattville, AL in 2006. As a child and through college I always was involved in playing sports. In high school I played basketball, soccer, softball, and ran track. I received a soccer scholarship to Shelton State Community College.

Growing up I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. Every job I had through high school and college involved me working with children whether at a day care, YMCA, or church. I have coached kids soccer and varsity girls soccer at Hillcrest High School in Tuscaloosa, AL.

I am married with two beautiful kids. When I am not working, I am usually outside playing with my son and daughter. We are all very active people. We enjoy soccer, going to the park, swimming, bike riding, dirt bike riding, arts and crafts, play dates with cousins and friends, and going to the gym.

I look forward to working with your children for this school year.
