After graduating high school, I headed to the University of Alabama to follow my dreams and start my degree in Elementary Education. Soon after I decided to transfer back home to be with my brother and close friends at Auburn Montgomery. In the Spring of 2014 I earned my Bachelors of Science in Childhood Education from Auburn University Montgomery.

This is my first year teaching First Grade! I have four years of experience teaching Kindergarten in Elmore County Schools. I started my teaching career at Eclectic Elementary school and was there for one year before finding my home here at Coosada Elementary. I taught Kindergarten for three years here at CES in the Blue Pod.

Hello, my name is Lauren Holena!

My graduation night.

I call Prattville home, but have become a Millbrook resident.   I was not raised here in Alabama; I am a military transplant. I was born in Anchorage, Alaska and have lived in many states.  I am a proud Prattville alumni and a big Crimson Tide fan! I am not married, but I have four fur babies. There is Hannah the Lab, Penny the Yorkie, Peanut the Chihuahua, and Jessie the mutt. I am blessed to have an amazing boyfriend and family. I am so excited for this school year and can't wait to see your children learn and grow.

This is my family visiting State College.
