Hello, my name is Lamonica Jeanae Crawford-Gilder.  I am the oldest of four in a household where my mother was both parents.  As a child I watched my mother and how she always stayed strong and took care of our family.  I learned how to be strong through watching my mother be strong.  I was educated in Montgomery County and I have lived there all of my life.  I learned how to have faith and be positive and remember that you have to be yourself.

I believe that all children need a strong foundation for a successful education.  It is my job to teach, but I need the support and help from the parents.  If the children receive that support from both of us that will help to make each child become very successful.  I have very high expectations for all of my children and love to see them learning.  Also, I feel that it is very important to teach children how to become independent so that they will be better prepared for the first grade.  This will help them to want to do things on their own and not always want help or say that they can not do things.  We are here to produce Business Owners, Teachers,  Doctors,  Lawyers, Future Leaders etc.  and this is where the foundation is layed.
