School wide School

In the past Coosada Elementary School has been a Title I Target Assisted School.  This past school year we went through the process to become a School Wide School.  We were awarded this status and are able to use the federal funds given to our school annually to serve ALL of the students at Coosada Elementary.  It is our responsibility to inform parents that we are School Wide and that the federal funds are used for all the students.  We are also charged with the responsibility of letting parents know that they have a right and a responsibility in giving the school input on the best way to spend these funds to serve our students!  We held an annual parent involvement meeting in August explaining how parents can be involved in helping us determine how to spend these funds.  If you ever have any questions or have input for us concerning our federal funds please contact Mrs. Goodin at 285-0273.  I will be happy to let you know how you can be more involved in helping our school spend this money to benefit our students!  We also have a parent resource room that can be of great value to you and your child.  If you would like to check out materials from this room to help your child at home please contact the school.  Thanks for always making CES a place where parents are involved in the educational process.  We appreciate your support!
